W.L. Heating & Cooling specializes in installing quality Ruud gas furnaces and air conditioning from 80% standard efficiency to 95% two-stage and modulating furnaces, along with 13-18 S.E.E.R single and two stage air conditioning systems. Ruud furnaces and AC systems are among the highest rated furnaces in the industry and they offer many different options and upgrades.
When it comes to oil fired furnaces, Thermopride is our furnace of choice. When coupled with the Riello burner, it offers one of the highest efficiencies on the market today.
Another form of air conditioning is high velocity. These systems utilize very small ductwork distribution systems primarily used for old or newer contemporary style homes. We have many years experience with these types of ac systems and have installed the Spacepak, Unico, and Hi-V brands.

Pictured here is a Ruud 95% two-stage LP furnace with Ruud 13 seer air conditioning. This home has two zones of heat and ac. There is a Honeywell True steam humidifier, RGF Guardian Air purifier, and a Ruud media air cleaner mounted to the system. This was a new construction home finished in 2008.

A Ruud modulating gas furnace with Ruud 16 seer two-stage air conditioning and a Ruud high efficiency media air cleaner. Installed with the furnace was a Aprilaire bypass humidifier and a State 50 gallon water heater.

Pictured here is a Thermopride oil furnace with a Riello burner and zoned with Honeywell wireless thermostats. This system is ac ready with a Ruud 13 seer ac coil. There is also a Honeywell True steam humidifier on the other side of the furnace that is not in view.

This is a Ruud 93% single stage horizontal LP furnace with 13 seer air conditioning. This system was installed in a four foot crawlspace in 2009. This system features three individual zones all of which are controlled by a Honeywell wireless zone panel and wireless programmable thermostats.

Pictured here is a Ruud 80% gas furnace with 13 seer air conditioning. This was installed in a four foot crawl space and was converted from one zone to two zones. The new zone panel is just out of view to the right. This unit was installed in early 2007.

Before & After Photos
This is a 25 year old 80% gas furnace with no air conditioning removed in 2009 and replaced with a:
Ruud 95% two-stage furnace with an ECM motor and 14.5 S.E.E.R air conditioning. This furnace also has a media air cleaner. Pictured below is the outdoor condenser.
This 14.5 S.E.E.R condenser combined with the furnace above actually acheived a 15.5 S.E.E.R with a 13.45 E.E.R.

Pictured here is a 46 year old wood/coal furnace that was converted over to electric. Located inside the supply plenum were the electric heat strips. The customer upgraded to a:
Ruud 95% two-stage furnace with an ECM motor with a Ruud media air cleaner.

This photo shows a 80% single stage gas furnace with 8 S.E.E.R air conditioning. This system was replaced with a:
Ruud 95% two-stage furnace with 14.5 S.E.E.R air conditioning and a Ruud media air cleaner. This system qualified for the 2009 State of Connecticut furnace rebate program and the CL&P 2009 energy rebate program. The system has an actual rating of 15.5 S.E.E.R and a 13.45 E.E.R. Also installed on this system is a Honeywell True steam humidifier which is on the back of the furnace, not in view.

Condensers
Pictured here is a 2 ton 13 seer ac condenser on a plastic pad installed in late 2007. The refrigeration lines from the second floor were concealed in white Slimduct. This home has a Spacepak high velocity air handler installed in the attic which is shown below.
